Hey everyone,
I'm Matt Schnitzler. I'm a freshman at CSU. 3 weeks left until I am done! I'm a business major focusing in marketing and computer information systems. I'm not really sure why I decided to start this blog. I think a journal is kind of girly, and although I may not live the most exciting life, I'd like to think that someone would get a kick out of reading some things about my life.
I'm a lover. I have great friends and a great family. I'm not sure what I want to do with life. But hopefully writing stuff down will help me figure what that is. Moving home this summer will be a change, with the constant power struggle that can be my life. I'm not religious, and as weird as that sounds it plays a large role in my life. I have a moral voice but I still have fun. And I don't hate on religion, I have friends who are very religious, and I have the utmost respect for them.
I live life by little sayings and similes that help me explain life. My three favorite are "Hanukah Mutata" Which as everyone knows, it means no worries. It's the way to live life, you only have one, enjoy it. "Life may not be the party we expected but we may as well dance", Make the best out of a bad situation and enjoy the outcome, regardless of what it is. And my favorite saying to live by is "Live for the moment, Plan for the future" We don't need to be overly goal oriented, but it's a great thing to have. And when you reach those goals, celebrate them!
I'm thinking of different ways to finish these off, and I think I have an idea, that being a quote, something different than my three to live by.
"Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
